Welcome to the ‘Bluelight’ Emergency Services eTendering Site

The www.bluelight.gov.uk site was initially launched in November 2004, to provide an E-Tendering solution available to all Emergency Services. A large number of Police Authorities and Fire & Rescue Services have signed up, a list of which can be found on the Member Authorities link on the left hand side.



Suppliers

Register for FREE to receive email notification of new tender opportunities issued by member authorities that match your capabilities, by clicking on the Register Company link on the left hand side, entering your company details and adding yourselves to one or more Product/Service categories. To search for relevant categories for your organisation, please click on the Product/Service Categories link on the left hand side.

Click on the New Opportunities link to view forthcoming tender opportunities and express an interest in them.

Select Supplier Login to update your company profile, access and download tender and quotations documents that have been sent to you, post clarification questions and upload and submit your response.

Select Username Reminder and/or Reset Password from the menu link on the left hand side if you have forgotten your login details.

Select Guides/FAQs for more information on how to register your company, update your account and add additional contacts, express an interest in a new tender opportunity, access tender and quotation information or submit your tender/quotation response.

Click on Awarded Contracts for a list of contracts in place for each Buying Authority. The details currently include, the Name of the contract, the lead organisation, the Start and End Date of the contract, and the Supplier/s the contract was awarded to. This list is updated on a regular basis as and when contracts are awarded, extended or expire.
